About Emma Mount :

"Emma Mount is an English self-taught artist. After a 10 year design career in London she is now a fulltime painter living on the south coast, a stone’s throw from countryside, forest and sea. Emma paints a variety of subjects including tattooed ladies, cats, ghouls, space girls, movie icons, vintage Barbies n Blythes all in oils on wood, chopping boards and skateboards. Her art is directly influenced by having been a teenager in the 80s, and her love affair with the pop culture, music & fashion of that decade continues still today. Modern day influences come from a love of road-trip adventures, hiking, and kitsch flea-market finds – some of whom find themselves in her art. Her works have been exhibited in Montreal, Melbourne, Vancouver, Rome, New York, LA, San Francisco, UK."
